In general, fresh is best. Most herbs grow easily in a pot by a
window, some grow wild and free! They should be added liberally
to boiling water and left without further heat for 10-30 minutes.
Best served without sweeteners. See herbs and healing foods for
more information.
Hemp leaf: a relaxing green tea, best drunk when legal
Chamomile: best when infrequently drunk, it is a calming herb,
great before bed
Peppermint : a wonder herb that helps digestion and weak nerves
Nettles and/ or lemongrass: a calming summertime brew that
tonifies kidneys. Add small amount of raw honey or maple syrup if
too bitter Raspberry leaf with mint and nettles: helps bring
on late menstruation and is beneficial during pregnancy
Sage and thyme: general all round tonic tea
The tannin in tea affects the stomach lining by retarding its
secretions. Milk helps combat these effects. So if you drink black

like the Chinese who let the tea stand for two minutes
