here. It is appreciated that eating local foods is not so easy in
large cities with great populations far from the land. Transport has
allowed us to take advantage of certain beneficial foods otherwise
unavailable to us, such as sea vegetables, so enjoy.
The
Present
The present is a gift. Be aware of this gift and treat it as such with
the utmost respect by not leaving it for the unknown future or
finished past. This gift is being in a time where the standard of
living is high. Many diseases previously affecting man seem to
have been eliminated. We have proper sanitation, knowledge for
better quality of air, sunlight, water and exercise. Yet, despite
these advances, we are witnessing an increase in degenerative
diseases such as new forms of cancer and AIDS.
It is now time to slow down and watch what is happening
to us as a society, where a mass change in consciousness is
occurring. Many people now understand that the medical industry
is just another modern economic industry interested in selling us
more pills and potions. In the words of Voltaire, ‘we put medicines
of which we know little about into our bodies about which we know
even less to cure disease of which we know nothing at all.’
Diseases such as arthritis and rheumatism are not
diseases of the organs, but a sign of the body being saturated with
acids. Colds are a symptom of the body saying that it is at the end
of the line – it has received too much toxic waste. How can the
symptoms be only the result of a germ? Germs are always
prevalent and we would be suffering from such germs all the time
if this was the only explanation. Fatigue is so widespread today, it
is considered normal and therefore okay for people to be
continually tired. I call this condition the ‘walking dead’. This
universal disease is often fixed with short-term acid forming
