Pulp
from
Juice
Instead of throwing all your juice pulp into the compost - it seems
too nutritious to throw away - here are some tips:
Fruit pulps can be frozen, mixed with yoghurt or tofu, or used to
make raw cakes. Vegetable pulps should be added directly back
into the juice to reduce the acidity and are generally a tasty source
of extra fibre in salads and soups too. Kiwi, papaya and pineapple
pulps are great for the skin. Apply for 20 minutes and rinse off to
find your skin smoother, fresher and regenerated. Potatoes &
cucumber are useful as eye compresses. Use for 20 minutes
when lying in the bath. This takes away bags from under the eyes.
Pumpkin, carrot & cucumber are great for cooling and calming
skin problems like sunburn. Carrots and green vegetables such as
cabbage, spinach, watercress and kale are beneficial in combating
acne.
