WHAT'S YOUR BEEF WITH BROCCOLINI?


(Number of Powerfoods: 3)


2 TABLESPOONS OYSTER SAUCE
2 TABLESPOONS CHOPPED FRESH GINGER
1 TABLESPOON REDUCED-SODIUM SOY SAUCE
1 TEASPOON CHILI PASTE
1 SMALL CLOVE GARLIC, MINCED
6 TABLESPOONS WATER
1½ POUNDS BROCCOLINI, TOUGH ENDS TRIMMED
3/4 POUND SKIRT STEAK
2 TEASPOONS TOASTED SESAME OIL
6 SCALLIONS, CUT INTO 1-INCH PIECES
1/3 CUP WALNUTS, TOASTED AND CHOPPED

1. Mix the oyster sauce, ginger, soy sauce, chili paste, garlic, and 3 tablespoons water in a small


bowl.


2. Cut the broccolini into bite-size pieces. Cut the steak across the grain into thin slices.


3. Heat the oil in a large nonstick skillet over high heat. Add the broccolini and stir-fry for 3 minutes.


Add 3 tablespoons water and stir-fry for 2 minutes.


4. Add the steak, scallions, and oyster sauce mixture; stir-fry until the beef is cooked through, about 2


minutes. Stir in the walnuts just before serving.


Makes 4 servings.
