McDonald's Fillet of Fish


This recipe tastes better than the original and contains less fat since the fish is baked instead of
fried.

INGREDIENTS | SERVES 1
1 Gorton's breaded fish fillet
1 plain hamburger bun
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1 teaspoon minced onion
1 teaspoon sweet relish
Pinch of salt
1 slice American cheese


1. Cook the fish according to the package instructions. You may bake or fry.
2. Lightly grill the bun.
3. In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, minced onion, relish, and salt to make the
tartar sauce.
4. Place the fish on the bottom of the bun.
5. Add the cheese and tartar sauce on top of the fish.

Fillet of Fish
The Fillet of Fish was created by McDonald's in 1963. It is a very easy sandwich to create using
frozen fish from Gorton's of Gloucester, which supplied the fish to all the restaurants when the
concept was developed.
