Cracker Barrel Grilled Chicken Tenders


This is such an easy recipe for one of Cracker Barrel's popular menu items.

INGREDIENTS | SERVES 4
½ cup Italian dressing
1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
1½ teaspoons honey
1 pound chicken breast tenders


1. Mix the dressing, lime juice, and honey together.
2. Pour the mixture over the chicken tenders, making sure all the chicken is covered. Marinate
for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
3. Grill the chicken to a lightly golden color, about 2 minutes per side.

Popeye's Biscuits


Any good southern meal should include some biscuits, and this recipe makes a big batch that can
be frozen.

INGREDIENTS | YIELDS 18
4 cups Bisquick
8 ounces sour cream
¾ cup club soda
½ stick butter


1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
2. In a large bowl, mix together the Bisquick, sour cream, and club soda. Turn the dough out
onto lightly floured wax paper and pat it out flat with your hand. Cut with a biscuit cutter.
3. Place the biscuits in a baking pan.
4. Melt butter in the microwave and pour ½ the butter over the biscuits before you bake them.
5. Bake the biscuits for 15–20 minutes.
