or gray sanded card

for this painting.

Those are the

perfect shades to

reflect the colors

of snow against the

evening sky.

Lightly stroke thin layers of color across the sky. Note the

direction of the sky as it moves toward the mountains.

Leave a small gap between the mountains and the sky.

Lighten up the sky with pale blue just above the mountains.

Using the chisel edge of pale yellow, lightly draw along the

top of the mountains. Then add a light layer of color over the

pale blue areas of the sky.

Create a warm pink glow above and on top of the pale

yellow. Using the chisel edge of the light purple pastel, add

a light coating just above the mountain. Also add a little

color to the sky above using the flat side. With dark purple,

block in the mountain.
