When painting trees, you will never run out of inspiration, whatever the season. Trees are constantly
changing both in color and shape. Autumn is a wonderful time of year to paint trees, as the colors are
absolutely staggering. Capturing the intense colors in autumn can be quite a challenge for any artist,
but pastels are easy to blend, fluid, and forgiving, making them an ideal medium for painting trees in
fall colors.Sketching out the scene very loosely with a pastel pencil, start by outlining the shape of the trees. In
this case, the central point of the picture is the end of the path. Note that the grasses on the left are
