a major problem. Identify it, and show how you would correct the problem.

1. Author Kurt Vonnegut, Jr., noted that “High school is closer to the
   core of the American experience than anything else I can think of.”
   His statement is certainly true in the sense that nearly everyone—
   famous and nonfamous alike—passes through high school. If you
   really want to know the deep, dark secrets of your favorite celebri-
   ties, read their high school yearbooks.
