Megia is able to exhale, too. “I’m a per-
fectionist,” she admits, “but I’ve kinda
stopped criticizing myself and started
going with the fl ow.”

Haley and JJ don’t just share a love of help-
ing people who fi nd themselves in need of
medical care. They also both happen to
enjoy a good tune. So, too, do their por-
trayers, Megia and Casey Moss. “He’s work-
ing on some music right now, so we’ll lis-
ten to his songs,” she confides of her
guitar-playing co-star. “I love his style and
his voice, and I think he’s absolutely tal-
ented as a musician and an actor... We’re
even talking about hitting the [recording]
studio together and doing a collabora-
tion.” Recently, Haley and JJ joined their
voices, lending a tune to the show. If
Megia has her way, they’ll get to do more
of that, just as Claire did in the past. “I
would defi nitely love to actually see Haley
sing more,” Megia off ers. “And I would love
for her and JJ to create more music. I think
that would be pretty awesome for them to
be a musical couple.”
Megia says that
hanging out with
Moss is “like a
personal rock
concert.”

FOR THE
SHOW
“I won’t lie... there were moments when
Olivia Rose Keegan would give me those crazy
eyes,” Megia laughs of Claire’s portrayer, “and it
was absolutely terrifying! But I love her.”
“When Haley got to the point of almost being
deported, Melinda defi nitely went out of her
way and stepped up,” Megia recalls.
