t’s been a summer of celebrations for
Millie Mackintosh. As well as turning
30, the former Made in Chelsea star
enjoyed her first wedding anniversary
with husband Hugo Taylor. “Married
life is really good, I’m loving it,” she
tells us. “We’re very happy, just enjoying
us-time, our selfish time.”
Having a major milestone for a birthday also
gave the fashion influencer plenty to think
about – especially with the launch of her latest
make-up collection for Boots.
“Ten years ago I was working as a make-up
artist. If you’d said to me then that I would
have my own make-up line one day, I wouldn’t
have believed it. I can’t believe it’s now in its
third year,” she says.
Here, Millie tells us the products she loves,
her go-to make-up routine and what helps her
sleep soundly at night...Congratulations on the new collection, Millie.
What’s your favourite product?
“It’s hard to choose one because they come in
gorgeous sets. The new range is a collection of
my must-haves – the make-up I use every day
and the looks I tend to go for.
“It’s my first time doing red lipstick this year.
I wear red a lot and the Beauty Icons red lip is
my signature go-to if I want to do something
quick to dress up my make-up. I wanted a really
hot-red shade rather than cool.
“Another new addition that I really love is
the highlighter palette. You’ve got bronzer,
blush and highlighter all together.”What’s your make-up look?
“Pared-back, glowy skin with a bit of bronzer,
bushy brows and lots of mascara. If I want to
dress it up, I go for a bright lip. Even if you’ve
got no make-up on, a red lip or a hot pink
