nal cord is likely to outperform any recovery
expected in humans. It behooves us to look into
this rich literature. Getting spinal‐transected
animals to walk on a treadmill works best
under a series of prescribed circumstances and
these are most definitely considerations that
should bear fruit for us working with the spine
and its functions in the canine athlete.
