WHAT’S ON IN ENTERTAINMENT!
The latest – and last – instalment of the
blockbuster X-Men franchise is here! And
as Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), Beast
(Nicholas Hoult), Storm (Alexandra Shipp)
and co. reunite, the superhero family is falling
apart as they face their most formidable foe
yet. Yep, they’re up against one of their own,
Jean Grey (Sophie Turner). Gulp! Nicholas
spills about the epic end of the saga and
starring alongside his ex, J-Law.

You can’t give too much away, but what
can you tell us about the plot? We go to
space, dude! I thought that was pretty cool.
I hadn’t been to space before! It’s a very cool
opening to the movie.
Is it true your character Hank (aka Beast)
swaps teams this time around and sides
with Magneto (Michael Fassbender)? Yes!
Hank kind of usurps and joins Magneto’s
school of thinking because he doesn’t believe
that Charles’ (James McAvoy) approach and
secrets he’s been holding have been correct.
Is this really the end of Hank and X-Men? It’s
a character that I love. That character’s grown
as I’ve grown – I feel like when I grow and get
older and discover new things in life, I can put
more into the character. So who knows what
the plans will be for the X-Men? But if it were
something that made sense for me to do,
then I’d be happy to play him again.
Was it a little awkward working with
Jennifer on this movie? It’s like going
back to school after the summer holidays.
There are lots of characters, so everyone
was together for brief periods but not every
day for four months. We’ve all got to get
along, we’ve all got to have fun.
