Victoria + Albert Baths now offers 194 RAL colour exterior finishes in gloss
or matt finishes across the entire collection of freestanding QUARRYCAST
baths and basins. Fully customisable Victoria + Albert Baths are now able to offer
more than 28,000 variants of their baths, and more than 5,000 basin variants.
Each finish is multi layered using a specialist catalysed paint and is hand polished
between applications. This technique results in an exceptional depth and lustre to
the finish and is considerably more durable than hand painted surfaces.

Charvet Export reveals the new face of Charvet in the Gulf

Sam Bahsoun, the managing director of Charvet’s sister company in Africa, has more than a decade’s experience working with the company

APPOINTMENT: Experienced catering
equipment professional Sam Bahsoun has
joined the Charvet Export team to repre-
sent the company in the Gulf States.
Managing director of Charvet’s sister
company in Africa, Sam Bahsoun has more
than a decade’s experience working with
Charvet and dealing with many projects

for hotel chains and brands, independent
hotels and restaurants throughout Africa.
Speaking about the appointment, Wayne
Cuomo, managing director, Charvet
Premier Ranges and head of the Charvet
Export office, said: “The UK based Charvet
Export team will continue to deal with
quotes and prepare drawings, but you need

to be as close as possible to your customers
to understand precisely what they expect
from the product and how they want to
work with their chosen manufacturer.”
A brand of heavy-duty kitchen equip-
ment, Charvet has worked with Middle
East caterers for more than 25 years,
thanks in particular to the efforts of the
late Charvet CEO, Pierre-Alain Augag-
neur, who personally relocated to Dubai
for several years to emphasize the im-
portance of the Middle-East to Charvet’s
future development.
Speaking about his appointment,
Bahsoun said: “This [the Middle East]
market will continue to expand with new
development, while the older hotels and
restaurants will mature and refresh their
offers. We have a strong platform to build
on the strengths of the Charvet brand
and I am looking forward to developing
many more projects, working alongside
the enthusiastic Charvet team and our
consultant and distributor partners and
friends in the region.”
