The learnsub-subsystem is shown in Figure 14.3 to demonstrate the
task level. Combining Figures 14.1, 14.2, and 14.3 we see a progression
from the complex interactions of national or international businesses and
organizations to a list of tasks that are performed by an individual.
Small teams of roundtable participants then completed models for the
other links in the chain. Figure 14.4 is based on their input for the trucker
link. The team identified five activities needed for a business transport-
ing fresh produce from the packer to the distributer (manage business,
manage employees, provide services, supply equipment, and transfer
product). Each subsystem includes activities that are tasks to be com-
pleted or a sub-subsystem that is modeled separately. The transfer prod-
