HYDRAULICS
PRODUCT GUIDE
Hydraulic cylinder
production series
From construction machines to industrial
applications, Liebherr’s (Nussbaumen,
Switzerland) hydraulic cylinder series for
a pressure range of up to 260 bar
(26,000 kPa) expands Liebherr’s exist-
ing series-production portfolio and intro-
duces a complete cylinder portfolio to
cover different industry-specific require-
ments. It is quick and easy-to-custom
configure the required product from
among the available options. The wide
range of con-
figuration
possibilities
and options
also allow for
individual,
application-
specific product designs. While the 380
bar (38,000 kPa) series-production
range is specially designed for high dy-
namic loads in construction machinery,
the ISO 6022-compliant industrial series
offers specific components for stationary
use. The hydraulic cylinder series with a
pressure range of 260 bar (26,000 kPa)
rounds out the portfolio. The new series-
production range offers cost-effective
solutions and can also be used univer-
sally in a wide range of applications,
both mobile and stationary.

Thumb cylinders
Thumb cylinders from RAM (Yorkton,
Saskatchewan, Canada) are high quality
welded cylinders specifically designed
for use on mini excavators, tracked exca-
vators, wheeled excavators and back-
hoes for hydraulic thumb applications.
The thumb cylinder design offers several
unique features to protect the cylinder
and equipment when operating in rug-
ged working conditions. According to
RAM, the thumb cylinder is specifically
designed to ensure a long working life,
while simplifying any routine servicing
Hydraulic flow monitoring
device
FlowHUB ViscoCorrect is Webtec’s
(Milwaukee, Wisc.) intelligent hydraulic
flow monitoring device with integral tem-
perature measurement and large digital
display used on oils, water and water-
based fluids. Ideal for condition monitor-
ing, test stands and closed loop control
applications in both fluid power and lu-
brication systems, FlowHUB ViscoCorrect
can measure and display flow and tem-
perature readings, as well as switch and
transmit flow values. Having all this capa-
bility as part of a single device provides
system designers with a number of im-
portant advantages. For instance, alarms
and shut-offs can be triggered and real-
time values transmitted to a PLC using
just one unit, instead of up to six discreet
hydraulic components which might have
been required conventionally. FlowHUB
ViscoCorrect is available in two ranges, 8
and 64 U.S. gpm.

Hydraulic hoses and
couplings
The Gates’ (Denver, Colo.) PRO Series
line of professional-grade hydraulic
hoses and couplings offers performance
specifically tailored to hydraulic appli-
cations across multiple end markets.

Miniature check valve
The Lee Company’s (Westbrook, Conn.)
IMH 855 LC2 Chek Valve provides more
than a 65% increase in flow capacity over
the existing 855 series check valve.
Measuring 8 mm in diameter x 17.4 mm
(0.685 in) long, this new valve features
robust all stainless steel construction. A
durable metal-
to-metal seat
provides low
leakage and
highly repeat-
able cracking
pressures. This
robust design,
combined with 100% functional testing,
ensures consistent, long-term perfor-
mance. The new check valve is offered in
two configurations for installation in ei-
ther metal or plastic manifolds. Suitable
for high-volume applications in automo-
tive hydraulic and fuel systems, the 855
LC2 Chek valve features compact size
and ease of installation.

requirements in the shop or on the job
site. Standard features include steel-
guided transfer hose, oversized spherical
bearing mounts, custom seal package,
oversized piston stem, fixed cushions on
cylinder ends and bolt-in gland with
high-tensile head bolts.

neering capabili-
ties, the full line
of PRO Series
products delivers performance, reliabil-
ity and design flexibility to meet the
varying demands seen in today’s hy-
draulic systems. With the addition of
the new ProXT hoses, the Gates Pro
Series line is now global and meets the
majority of global industry hose specifi-
cations demanded by replacement and
first-fit customers. Available in seven
sizes ranging from ¼ to 1 in (6.35 to
25.4 mm), the new ProXT hoses meet
SAE 100R2/R16, ISO 11237 R16 and EN
857 2SC industry performance stan-
dards. Gates PRO Series couplings are
qualified for use with the full line of
PRO Series hoses, including ProXT, to
ensure end-to-end system performance.
