Wellness leads to  tness, but the
opposite is not true
Wellness lies within and is a reflection
of how you feel about yourself
internally as well as externally. It is
the balance of inner and outer beauty



  • the exterior looks beautiful only if
    the interior is beautiful. So we should
    give equal importance to both realms
    of life. It is different from being fit
    though. Wellness leads to fitness, but
    the opposite is not true. Wellness is a


concept that balances all four aspects
of our being – mind, body, soul and
consciousness. Wellness balances and
takes care of all four aspects, whereas
fitness takes care of only the body.

I exercise for an hour & a half
every day
I am an early riser and start my day
with meditation. Then, I hit the gym
where I do cardio, strength training
and yoga for an hour and a half. It

keeps me fit and energetic. And
when I am travelling, I start my day
with a long walk and meditation.

I have several cheat days
I am fond of green vegetables,
juices and fresh fruits – I am
completely glued to healthy food
habits. But with my hectic schedule
and busy social life, I do have several
cheat days. So, I have to balance
these days by being over disciplined
during the remaining days. Frankly,
I don’t need any motivation to keep
myself fit as it is something that is
an inherent part of me – I really
enjoy it.

Self discipline helps me achieve
my goals
I have my priorities aligned to
stay focussed. Self discipline is
particularly the most important
attribute of my life and the
prerequisite to my happiness. It
gives me great control and helps me
achieve my short- and long-term
goals. When work becomes a part
of your life, and it is your passion
as well as inner calling, there is no
need to strike a balance since they
automatically merge.

to my idol gives me supreme bliss
and motivates me to stay focussed
while maintaining harmony in all
aspects of my life.
