Beibei sees Jinlan and
Minmin causing trouble
for Xiaocao and Feihu at
the restaurant. Jinlan even
accuses Feihu of lusting
after Xiaocao’s fortune. She
reminds Xiaocao that Minmin
is the type Feihu likes, not
a woman who looks like a
child. Xiaocao runs off in
tears and refuses to listen to
Feihu’s explanations.
Qiang takes Feihu away
and beats him up. He is
angry with himself for saving
Feihu and indirectly causing
Xiaocao to be upset.
Beibei consoles Xiaocao,
who is sad she and Feihu
can never be a couple openly
because of her condition.
Yimei sees Zhengnan’s
ring amongst the items
examined in Jiang Yong’s
case. She confirms it with
Zhengnan and learns that
Jian’an’s mother did not visit
her. Wenxing sees Tangtang’s
toy mask and deduces that
Jinlan and Jian’an could
have impersonated Suqing
and Letian.
Yimei asks Minmin about
Letian’s habits and notices
discrepancies. Minmin
defends Letian, which
makes Wenxing suspect her
baby’s father is Letian and
not Xiaozu.
Yimei deliberately asks
Jinlan about Suqing’s visit
earlier and even insinuates
that the Suqing she saw
smelled and behaved exactly
like Jinlan. Jinlan tries to
cover up her fraud.
Letian is unhappy to
see Tiancheng. He gives
Yongzhen a slap for letting
Yimei and Tiancheng into
the house. Upset, Tiancheng
hits him. Letian accuses him
of assault, and Yimei refutes
the charge. She warns him
that Yongzhen can sue him
for domestic abuse.
Yongzhen begs Letian
to let her remain by him.
Tiancheng plays along and
asserts that he will not take
Yongzhen back.
Xiaozu asks to meet Ailin
at a suspension bridge. He
threatens to throw himself
off the bridge if she refuses
to marry him. Her resolve
wavers.
Jinlan is incensed that
Yimei had abused her
authority and barged into the
Jiang residence to test her.
Jack is amused that Minmin
spoke ill of Jian’an.Jian’an is unhappy Jinlan
posed as his mother and
made Yimei suspicious.
Jinlan retorts that it was his
mistake to let Yongzhen get
hold of his hair samples.
She insists she had to
rectify the problem.
Jinlan and Letian
convince Minmin to create
trouble at the Lins’ and be

Shuibo gives in to Minmin
and even lets her have
his room. She slaps Erzhu
and orders him to prepare
a Western breakfast for
her. Shuibo refuses to let
Hongshan and Yimei move
out. Minmin knows Shuibo
detests her, but she does
not care, as her main aim is
to create trouble.
Hongshan reminds
Shuibo not to give in to
Minmin or the Lin family will
be ruined. Shuibo had initially
felt guilt-stricken with respect
to Minmin, but after her
ruckus in the house, he feels
nothing for her but disgust.
Minmin ransacks Ailin’s
room. Watching Ailin flare up
gives her satisfaction. She is
happy Ailin is miserable, and
vows never to tell her that
the man who slept with her
that night was Xiaozu, not
Feihu.
Ailin tells Minmin off for
being a loose woman whogot involved with Letian,
Feihu and Xiaozu. Minmin
sneers at her and asserts
that Heilong will never accept
a gangster girl like her.
Ailin is upset when
Minmin cuts up her beloved
shoes that were a gift from
Xiaozu.
Xiaocao begs Beibei to
become her adult substitute.
She then tells everyone
she is undergoing surgery
in America to aid normal
growth.
Jinlan asks Jack to let
Wuxiong pose as Letian.
This would enable the fake
Letian and Jian’an to appear
together. If that happens,
Tiancheng and the others will
have to accept that the Letian
they see is the real one.
Wenxing, Liyun and
Xiaowen are out shopping
when they see Letian.
Xiaowen senses that the
Letian of today is different
from the other they saw.
Wenxing is certain Letian is
Jian’an. Liyun tries in vain to
tear off Letian’s mask.
Letian is well aware Yimei
is keeping an eye on him.
Beibei is playing the
saxophone in the street
when Zhengnan walks
past. Beibei is stunned, as
Zhengnan looks exactly like
her dead sister.
Zhengnan asks to meet
Feihu, as she is concerned
about Xiaocao. Jian’an
