He introduces himself as
Shen Zaimin, and Zhang Caili
becomes infatuated with
him.
Hengkui’s loan
application is rejected. In
desperation, he asks Shanyu
to sell the eatery and use
the funds to help him set
up a law firm. She agrees
without hesitation.
Xuncai meets Yingshan
for dinner to commemorate
his father’s 33rd death
anniversary. Yingshan bumps
into JY Group’s chairman,
Zhang Zhexiong, and reacts
coldly to him.

Zhen’ai is alarmed to hear
her parents are selling the
eatery they have worked
at tirelessly for the last
20 years. She criticises
Hengkui, who points out
that she too is shirking her
responsibility by moving out.
Zhen’ai is repairing a
machine at the factory.
Yingshan drops by and is
impressed by her dedication.
Zhen’ai tells her that she is
her role model.
Following the blind date,
Caili eagerly awaits a phone
call from Hengshun but none
is forthcoming.
Zhen’ai passes by her
parents’ eatery. She hears
the customers lamenting
its closure as its dishes are
delicious. She fondly recalls
helping Shanyu prepare
kimchi as a child.
After a night of pondering,
Zhen’ai decides to break
the lease of the apartment
she has rented and use the
money to pay the deposit on
the eatery and the rent.
A burst pipe is reported
at the factory. It needs to be
fixed immediately because
important clients are visiting
the next day. Zhen’ai calls
the repair company and,
unexpectedly, it is Xuncai
who shows up.
Xuncai works through
the night to fix the pipes.
Early in the morning, he is
awakened by a phone call.
His co-worker urges him to
hurry up as he is late for the
contract signing. However, he
doesn’t make it on time and
the contract is cancelled.
Zhexiong is pleased that
JY Group is awarded the
contract instead.
Yingshan arrives at the
factory with her important
guests. Noticing that the
pipes are leaking again,
Zhen’ai pushes Yingshan
away before the pipes burst.
Lawyer Huang persuades
Hengkui to return to the law
firm. Hengkui knows Junying
well: Junying wants him to
crawl back and kowtow to
him.
Hengshun is depressed
after an unsuccessful job
interview. Zaimin asks him
to go to the hospital where
he works, as Caili is waiting
for him. Hengshun has no
choice but to continue to
impersonate Zaimin.
Learning that Xuncai
has lost a project because
of her, Zhen’ai is guilt-
stricken. When Yingshan
asks Xuncai why he had
missed the contract-signing
appointment, he does not

Shanyu scolds Zhen’ai for
extending the eatery’s lease.
It means she can’t help
Hengkui rent an office for
his law firm. Zhen’ai is hurt
by the outburst, as she had
taken on losses in breaking
her apartment’s rental
contract.
Hengkui accuses
Zhen’ai of taking revenge
because their mother and
grandmother have always
showered their love on him.
Dongchu slaps Hengkui
and shows him the torn
lease he found in Zhen’ai’s
room. He orders Hengkui to
open his eyes and look atZhen’ai’s sacrifice for the
family.
Shanyu begs Zhen’ai
to take out her savings to
help her brother. Meanwhile,
Hengkui drowns his misery
by drinking heavily.
At the factory, Zhen’ai
is reprimanded by Manager
Yang for the burst pipes.
Xuncai defends her, and
criticises Manager Yang for
neglecting his own duties.
Afterwards, Yingshan
happens to drop by. Xuncai
quickly hides in the female
changing room, where
Zhen’ai is changing.
HS Fashion signs the
contract with the client.
Pleased with Zhen’ai’s
performance, Yingshan
suggests she apply for a
transfer to the planning
team.
Yingshan and Xuncai
discover that JY Group won
the contract by lowering
its bid ridiculously. Xuncai
confronts Zhexiong, who
chides him for winning
projects via connections.
Xuncai says he will prove he
is capable.
Hengkui swallows his
pride and accepts the job
offer from Junying. He vows
not to be looked down upon
anymore, and to make his
family proud of him.
Hengkui tells Shanyu he
is returning to work at the law
firm. He wants his mother to
continue to run the eatery.Shanyu blames Dongchu and
regrets marrying a worthless
man like him. Dongchu
decides to prove his worth by
accepting a job at a pub.
Zhexiong conducts
a background check on
Xuncai and discovers he is
Yingshan’s son. Yingshan
got married to Xuncai’s
father less than a year after
she broke up with Zhexiong.
Zhexiong bumps into
Yingshan. He apologises
for preventing Xuncai from
getting new projects; he
didn’t know he is her son.
Yingshan is confident Xuncai
can overcome the odds.
At the pub, Dongchu
is dancing with a female
customer. The woman’s
husband erupts in anger
and gets his men to assault
Dongchu. Xuncai witnesses
the brawl and helps Dongchu
out.
Zhen’ai receives a call
from the police station. She
arrives with Shanyu, and
they are shocked to learn
Dongchu is working at a pub.
Zhen’ai is surprised to see
Xuncai at the police station
as well.
Hengkui bails Dongchu
out. He refuses to post bail
for Xuncai when Zhen’ai
asks him to help. Afterwards,
Yingshan arrives at the
police station, but her lawyer
is not available. Hengkui
discovers her identity and
turns back to help bailBad first impression: Xuncai and Zhen’ai start out on the wrong
