How to ensure food is the highlight of your wedding day

‘DINNER

IS SERVED...’

W

hile personal memories
of your wedding day
will revolve around
the emotional side of
the speeches and the
significance of the ceremony, for guests the
aspect that will resonate with them the
most is the food and how tasty it is. You can
go to town with flash décor and superstar

entertainment, but it will never have the
same impact as feeding your guests a feast
that they’ll remember. No pressure then! In
all seriousness though, that pressure is
not something you need to worry about.
As long as you pick the right caterer,
everything else will take care of itself.
Arun Luthra, Director of Ragamama
Ragasaan explains more.

Type of service

Couples assume that the only option for
wedding catering is a sit-down three-
course meal, but while that remains a
popular choice, it’s not the only type of
catering that can work. At Ragamama,
we offer different options and can advise
you on what will work for your venue and
theme. For example, live stations offer
guests an array of choices, they can see the
food being cooked freshly in front of them
and it creates a complete food experience.
If you’re having a summer wedding and
want to have your meal served alfresco, we
can arrange for outdoor catering.

Choosing your menu

Gone are the days of only serving
traditional dishes. Our chefs are skilled in
creating global flavours and with guest’s
palettes becoming even more discerning,
they’ll appreciate the gesture of having
unexpected flavours. From Lebanese and
Thai to freshly rolled Sushi, there are no
limits to what’s possible, you simply need to
decide what will best suit you, again this is
something your caterer can advise you on.
