and participating in global projects.
Since 2012, the number of applications to our Management Trainee
Program has increased with a retention rate of up to 85%.

B. COMPETENCY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM To support our
customers’ rapid business growth, we invest heavily to attract, nurture
and retain our talents. In 2015, we launched a Competency Development
Program in partnership with one of our strategic customers in China.
A customi]ed and comprehensive Competency Profi le with behavior
indicators and e[pected profi ciency was developed for each Mob role.
The Competency Profi le was successfully applied in different stages of
the employee life cycle from hiring and onboarding to talent reviews and
development. The key benefi ts of this program include:
I. IDENTIFYING TALENTS
Provide the company with an effective assessment tool
to identify talents. We have successfully hired 16 key
management positions and 62 Management Trainees through
this tool since 2016.
II. TALENT DEVELOPMENT
Having used this tool for assessing our people in key positions
and offering them customized development plans, we promoted
8 high potential employees and
10 senior supervisors in 2016.
With the successful launch
of this program in China, it was
extended to Greater China
in 2016 and we also turned
this Competency Profi le into
a mobile app with learning
resources to support individual
learning anytime, anywhere.
It was well received by our
customers and LF Logistics
was awarded the “Excellence in
Organization Development” in
HR Innovation Award in Hong
Kong in October 2016.

C. PROMOTING PEER LEARNING “Internal Trainers Program”
is a key project operated by LF Logistics China. The main objective is
to recruit business managers as trainers and empower our people to
share their expertise while building a supportive learning environment.
We launched this program in 2016 and developed 13 courses and
eTuipped 2 internal trainers. More than 160 local employees benefi tted
from this program.
LF Logistics China also organized a “Learning Club” which was
formed voluntarily and self-managed by a group of experienced and
passionate colleagues, who enjoy sharing their experiences and learning
from each other. This tremendously strengthened collaboration among
the various departments and enhanced our people’s operational and
management skills.

Nothing can stop us from unleashing the potential of our people. We will
continue to “Inspire” every day, leading every one of us on the path of
GREATNESS. We will continue developing our people and ensuring our
people grow with the company. We will continue to challenge ourselves

    to inspire each other. Unlike other cultural programs, we
    communicated our values with our people through gamifi cation.
    We created a board game named Culture Journey, and invited our
    people to become internal trainers across borders to facilitate the
    Culture Journey activity. A website was also developed to invite all
    colleagues to submit stories about living the inspire GREATNESS
    values in daily work and share best practices.
    We know people-centered managers play a key role in
    building a culture of appreciation in the workplace. So, we invited
    our managers to join People Manager Workshops where they were
    introduced to practical
    tools such as appreciation
    cards and tokens of
    appreciations to spread a
    culture of appreciation.

LF Logistics addresses
our people’s development
needs at every stage, from
well-structured, long-term
programs to promoting a
peer learning environment
through workshops in
various topics. We are
also developing a transparent and comprehensive Competency
Development Program to help identify individual’s development
needs at all stages in their career. We value our employees and
value their development. Our pledge is to make sure our people
grow alongside the company’s growth.

A. MANAGEMENT TRAINEE PROGRAM To cope with the rapid
business growth and develop our future talents, LF Logistics China
launched the Management Trainee Program and recruits graduates
from global and local universities since 2012.
Led by our human resources team in close collaboration
with our senior management from various departments, this
18-month intensive program is our long term and continuous talent
development program. To support the individual development of
our management trainees and lead them on their way to becoming
future leaders, we provide them with a customized individual
development plan. Each trainee is assigned a mentor and a work
companion who can help himher fi t into the company easier. We
also help our management trainees expand their network and
familiarize with various parts of the business through job rotations
