Up your body’s supply of antioxidants, such as
vitamins E and C, beta carotene and some trace
minerals such as selenium, to start with. These
help the body by getting rid of the free radicals
that make you feel unhealthy and fatigued, and,
in the long run, may lead to heart problems,
and other complications. While supplements are
available for these, it’s best to get them naturally
through the food you eat. So, plan meals that
give you your daily dose.

Several toxins are fat-soluble and the liver’s
job is to transform them into water-soluble
substances so that they can be excreted via the
bowel or the kidneys (the bowel and the kidneys
cannot process fat-soluble toxins). All the fat you
consume is processed by the liver. This process
