The Grove school is a brand new special school
for young people with autism which we are
planning to open in September 2018 in Haringey.
This is part of the Heartlands Community Trust.
We wish to appoint, for September 2018, five
Learning Support Assistants who will join our
expanding team. This team will develop over
four years, opening with 42 students on roll
until we capacity at 104 students by 2021.


We are looking for people who have an
outstanding track record and ready for an
exciting new challenge.


This is a rare opportunity to be involved in the
founding of this new school; as a member of
our team, you will be part of the development
and planning process and work alongside class
teachers to deliver a personalised curriculum
to our students.


The successful candidates will make an
important contribution to the school ethos. Their
role will include supporting students on a daily
basis, supporting small learning groups, working
with staff to ensure an inclusive approach and
working collaboratively to support the learning
needs of students on the autistic spectrum.


The successful candidates will have:



  • Some experience of working with students
    with additional needs including autism

  • A flexible and proactive approach to
    supporting students

    • Ability to communicate well with students,
      teachers and adults

    • Completion, or the readiness to complete,
      the LSA induction programme

    • Some understanding of the issues relating
      to child development and inclusion

    • A commitment to safeguarding children.

We are seeking an ambitious and inspirational classroom
practitioner who can teach Art part time. We wish toappoint an
exceptional individual who has the necessary skills and attributes
to have a real impact upon Art learning and teaching at Bohunt
Worthing. Potential is as important as experience so applications
are invited from NQTs as well as more experienced colleagues.
Successful NQTs receive a £1,500 bonus in their fourth term and
all staff receive an iPad and laptop.Bohunt School Worthing is a
new Academy that opened in September 2015 with Year 7 and 8
only. We moved into state of the art buildings in September 2016
and have grown to 600 students across Years 7-10.
The Performing Arts faculty currently consists of six teachers
across Drama, Music, Art and PE and is led by a drama
specialist. It will grow further to accommodate the intake of
180 additional students in September 2018 giving us all year
groups in the school. The faculty is committed to trialling new
ideas in the classroom and works hard to provide engaging
activities and lessons to ensure that all students have every
opportunity to make excellent progress. A contract above 0.4
is possible for an applicant who has other subjects they can
