Yack is an attractive desktop app for macOS that lets you

browse online communities such as Reddit, YouTube,

Hacker News and more in a single , easy-to-navigate

interface. You can choose how to organise and view your

networks, and it co mes with a browser for opening links,

videos and more. Yack is cu rrently in public beta, so you

needto sign up before you can use it. There is a Windows

beta comingsoon.

If you enjoy trying out differen t Linux operating systems,

then MX Linux is definitely worth a look. Currently available

in beta, version 19 of th e popular OS is built on Debian 10

Buster and usesthe new Xf ce 4.14 desktop environment.

It comes with the latest versions of packagesincluding

GIMP, Firefox, VLC, Thunderbird and LibreOffice.

We found the beta to be very stable, bu t you may

encounter bugs in regular use.

Alt-Tab Termin ator replaces Windows’ built-in

Alt-Tab feat ure with a more powerful and

versatile version. Once activated, it displays a list

of all running tasks on your PC, with previews so

you can see exactly what they are. You can

switch to any of th em, and clos e or termin ate

unwanted items.

Right-clicking a program entry brings upa list

of tasks that can be performed on it. You can

navigate the interface using your keyboar d or

mouse, apply differen t themes to make it look

more interesting and click the Full Screen button

to maximise the switcher window to fill your

whole screen.

but it hasn’t been updated

since 2009, and the

developer’s website has

long disappeared, although

you can still download the

tool from various other

sources, such as

MajorGeeks. You’re better

off using the superior and

up-to-date Alt-Tab

Termin ator, though.

Vouivre is a 3D action-adventure game

discover that you’re not alone. The
game feels and plays rather like Doom,
