head its CMBS ratings
and analytics efforts.
Pollem’s role includes
oversight of modelling,
methodology and
criteria for CMBS and
related commercial real
estate initiatives, as well
as producing analytical
analysis. Pollem was
previously a managing
director at Hannon
Armstrong Sustainable
Real Estate, where he
securitised commercial
PACE loans. Before that,
he co-managed
Guggenheim Securities’
conduit platform and
also spent 11 years at
rival ratings firm S&P.
Dai Kitamura has
returned to HSBC after
a sabbatical as head of
corporate, financials
and multinationals
banking for Asia
Pacific. Based in Hong
Kong, he reports to
