Clifton Baumatic
The Clifton Baumatic, powered by the BM13 version of the Baumatic
calibre, express a combination of watchmaking expertise and
contemporary style, which has characterised the Baume & Mercier
approach for 189 years. This year, the collection expands with a red
gold case and a gradated blue dial, every dial of which is enhanced by
an oversized date aperture at 3 o’clock and topped with a domed anti-
glare sapphire crystal to ensure better readability. The sapphire crystal
case back reveals the calibre’s refined circular-grained bridges and a
sand-blasted, snailed baseplate. The openworked, steel or gold toned
tungsten oscillating weight is adorned with a decoration combining
Côtes de Genève with snailing. Within the movement, the lyre is shaped
like the Phi character, the Baume & Mercier symbol representing the
Maison’s quest for perfection. The interchangeable leather straps of the
Clifton Baumatic collection enable each one to adapt to various whims.Ball
Roadmaster Raffles
Ball’s Roadmaster Raffles is a limited edition commemorating the
bicentennial anniversary of Sir Stamford Raffles’ arrival in the Lion
City. The 40mm streamlined case features a day-date automatic
movement, micro gas tube luminosity and a red color bezel that
pays homage to the nation’s flag. With the automatic calibre
BALL RR1102 as the featured chronograph movement, the
Roadmaster Raffles also comes equipped with a uni-directional
rotating aluminium bezel with micro gas tube inset, anti-reflective
sapphire crystal, as well as a patent-protected screwed-in crown
design. Drawing inspiration from Singapore’s national flag, the
Roadmaster Raffles comes with a classy red bezel, a first in Ball
Watch’s history, along with green gas tubes. The transparent
caseback, emblazoned with the iconic pose of Sir Stamford
Raffles, completes the uniquely localised design. Available in only
200 pieces to signify the 200 years since the country’s founding
in 1819.
