Hello everyone, welcome
to the June 2018 edition
of your favourite aviation
modelling magazine!

T

his month it’s really all about the new
releases and features that help you
to navigate through the building and
painting of some spectacular kits that
have dropped on to the model shop
shelves over the last few months.
We begin of course with our round-up
of 1:144 kits and a build of the wonderfully
detailed AFV Club Sea King, a kit that is as
involved as it is attractive in this diminutive

scale. Roy Kinsella once again takes the
reins of this project, building both kits that are
supplied in the box, one in the colours of the
Canadian Navy and the other in the famous
markings of ‘Old 66’, the helicopter than
gained worldwide attention during the Apollo
missions of the 1960s.
Moving on and up in terms of complexity
and scale, Jamie Haggo looks at the new
range of Eduard Fw190s. Replacing their
earlier, more complex releases, the new kits
cover a whole spectrum of sub-variants so we
have a number of features planned to cover
all of the bases. This month Jamie builds two
models using some of Eduard’s ‘Overtrees’,
fi nishing them in two distinctive colour
schemes along the way.
