he next new member of Kittyhawks
1/48 scale UH-1 Huey will be the
twin engined UH-1N. The N model
has seen nearly 50 years of frontline
service with 34 nations around the world.
So there should be plenty of colourful
marking options available to you though
few will equal the bright yellow with red
and white trim used by the Canadian

he Avro Shackelton has always
been a popular 1/72 scale subject
in both its original Frog kit and
new tool Revell and Airfix boxings. By the
time you read this, Alley Cat models willbe releasing a multi media conversion in
two versions. The early predominantly
white scheme and the second boxing

am sure I am not alone in being
amazed by the number of 1/72
scale kits that are being produced
including many interesting types from
the 1920 and 30s. Dora Wings have been
a leading manufacturer by producing
kits of aircraft that many have only ever
dreamed of building. Now they have
shown more early CAD Drawings of their
new Savoia-Marchetti S.55 project as well
as pictures of their production version
of the Bellanca. CH/J-300 which will
be available by the time you read this.
Moving up to 1/48 scale they have also
announced they are at the early stages of
