narrow cotton lace (pram

Q Stranded embroidery cotton
in dark and medium brown
Q Lightweight batting such
as Pellon
Q Fusible tear-away stabiliser
Q 40cm (16in/size 16) square
cushion insert
Q Bobbin thread such as
Bobbinfil (optional)
Q Appliqué mat or baking

Finished size:
40cm (15^3 ⁄ 4 in) square

Note: Read all the instructions
before starting the project. It
is recommended that fabrics
be 100% cotton, pre-washed
and well ironed. Requirements
are based on fabric 107cm

(42in) wide. Seam allowances
of^1 ⁄ 4 in are used throughout.
The appliqué method used
is raw-edge fusible-web with
machined blanket stitch, but
you can adapt the instructions
to your preferred technique.

the magazine, but you can also
download the digital pattern

and print it out.
