12: DESIGN CREER HOUSE
LOCATION RANDWICK, SYDNEY
Being close to the city hub was the ideal
location for homeowner and builder Luigi
Mollica, who decided to start from scratch to
create the home he envisioned. “Adapting the
existing house to suit the new brief required
extensive work, so it was agreed that the best
approach would be to demolish the existing
dwelling and start fresh,” says architect
Tanya Hancock. The home’s interior is a clean
crisp palette of white and timber, with black
accents and natural stone. The kitchen opens
out to a leafy lawn and lounge area, and the
swimming pool is the perfect escape for hot
summer days and entertaining.

13: DESIGN NORTH MANLY HOUSE
LOCATION NORTH MANLY, SYDNEY
There is much to love in this fi ve-bedroom
home that boasts lots of natural light and
plenty of living space, both indoors and out.
There is also a touch of decadence thrown in
for good measure. Take the master ensuite,
for example. It has a luxurious bathtub and
can be fully opened up to the outside deck.
The bed also faces the deck; in summer it’s
bathed in warm natural light, and at night the
homeowners can see a canopy of stars. There’s
also a pair of sun loungers on the private
deck. Downstairs, the sliding doors open to an
outdoor seating area, as well as a pool and spa.
