CRYSTAL BALL Each guest
posed for a Polaroid
photograph on arrival that
was paired with a message
for the happy couple. ‘We
asked everyone to write
down a wish or a prediction
for our future that we will
open on our anniversary,’
says the bride who put her
DIY skills to good use for
the place cards. ‘I bought a
wooden table leg from
Bunnings and Dane sliced it
into pieces. I then used a
soldering iron to burn
everyone’s names into the
wood,’ explains Shannon.

doesn’t mean you have
to forgo hand made
touches. Pack light and
leave plenty of room
for extra bits
