akes are so damn delicious that I have decided
they actually have the power to teach us a lot
about life and ourselves in general. Seriously- I’m not kidding! There has got to be a reason
why we celebrate nearly every single occasion
with them, right? I’ve chosen five stand-out baked
treats to concoct the perfect recipe for living life.
Ice-cream cake
Let’s start with the best treat of them all. For my birthday last
year, Channel [V] gave me a Freddo Frog ice-cream cake.
It ruled! I didn’t want no fancy-shmance one! As I licked my
plate clean, I started to realise that despite growing up and
getting older, not everything has to change. Some things can
stay the same. A big one is being able to laugh at yourself;
that’s something maturity should never alter. And nor should
it affect our ability to be childish sometimes. Why should
ice-cream cake be phased out the older you get? We should
never be too old to wear party hats or build sandcastles!
