opportunitytoprovideacontemporaryinterpretationof
theVictorianterrace,”saysMatt,whoisnostrangerto
givingperiodhomesafreshtwist.“Thismeantretaining
thefunctionalzones,yetthejourneyfromfronttorear
involved selective removal of walls, breaking down the
formalityandthecontainmentoftheVictorianinterior.”
While honouring the home’s history, he created continuity
with consistency of materials, colour and detail.
