Note: Read all the instructions
before starting the projects.
These are easy skill level
knitting projects. The faces are
embroidered over plain stocking
stitch rather than knitted in
diff erent colours. Materials and

instructions are given separately
for the outfit and softie so you
can make either or both projects
as desired. Use only the yarn
specified. Other yarns are likely
to produce diff erent results.
Quantities are approximate as
they can vary between knitters.
(If making both projects, you
may not need all the balls
listed.) Check the ball bands

to ensure that all balls of each
colour are from the same dye lot.
Instructions are for the six-month
size, with the 12- and 24-month
sizes shown in brackets. It’s a
good idea to highlight the size
you are making throughout to
avoid confusion. You can see
a photo tutorial for knitting/
duplicate stitch here: http://www.craftsy.
