KNEE SHIELD GUARD PASS ONE

1: Your opponent is playing guard, with an active knee shield.

2: Control your opponent’s trousers with your right hand.

3/4: Drive your right shoulder forwards to pin their legs down to the mat.

7/8: Keep your right arm tight and block your opponent’s right leg
with your left hand as you progress to pass their guard.


5/6: Your opponent will always look to open their knee upwards to prevent
the pass. Time it so that as they open their knee upwards, you bring your
chest into the space that was previously occupied by their knee.
