‘I TRY NOT TO

JUST ABOUT
LOOKING GOOD.
style and emerged even more self
assured and confident. ‘I try to
work out six days a week if I can,
and give myself a day off,’ she says.
‘My workouts can last anywhere
between an hour to two hours
depending on the intensity of the
workout and what I have time for
that day. Trust me, it’s not always
easy finding time to work out but
if you make it a priority, eventually
it becomes part of your routine.’
Body hangups are something
most – if not all – of us can relate
to... and Khloé’s not immune to
them either, admitting she still
has ‘moments of weakness’. ‘I try
not to let what people say bother
me but at the same time, I am
human,’ she says. ‘When I go
through comments on social
media and read about my arms
or my thighs or hips, I try not
to let them get to me, but I’d be
lying if I said I never went to my
trainer the next day, saying, “I
need to work on my thighs today”.
But mostly I brush the criticism
off... I love my body; I’m healthy,
I work out.’
‘I AM LION, HEAR ME ROAR’
While she’s never been afraid to
stand up for what she believes in,
we’ve seen a more confident and
selfassured Khloé appear in
recent years. Her sense of self
is aweinspiring, as is her fierce
protection of her family: mess
with Khloé’s loved ones, mess
with her. ‘I am a lion and these
are my cubs and don’t f*ck with
my cubs because I will rip your
head off,’ she has said. She also
has some solid advice for her
nieces [Penelope, North and
Dream]. ‘I just want them to be
confident in themselves and in
who they are. I don’t think there’s
anything more important than
that,’ she says. ‘And to have fun.
I don’t want them to take things
so seriously all the time. They’re
such beautiful girls inside and out,
with amazing personalities. I just
want them to live a good life.’ >
