READER RIGS

Hi there,
My mate Robbie T. bumped into your lm crew up in
Arnhemland back in August; and reckons they said they were
lming the next TV series up there. I spent a bit of time up
there as a teacher in the 2000s, so I’ve been keeping an eye
out, but just wondering if you have any idea when the new
season’s likely to air?
Thanks fellas, keep it up. Love your show!
Bryan

G’day Bryan,
Yeah that would have been us! We spent a couple of months
visiting Arnhemland and all the Territory’s best bits earlier in
the year. Filming is nished for the new season, but we’re still
working through the editing process. We don’t have dates
for when Series Six of 4WD Touring Australia is set to air just
yet, but it will be early in the new year. We’ll post an update
in the mag and on our Facebook page later in the year once
the dates have been rmed up.
Thanks for watching!

WIN

Our Readers Rig champ this month is Brad
Anthony, proud owner of a unique Nissan
Patrol nicknamed ‘Beastie’. Brad’s eye-
catching GQ stands out wherever he takes it,
and it certainly got our attention!
The big GQ is equipped with a 454 big
block Chevy powerplant, GU ve-speed
transmission, Marks Adaptors transfer
case, 3.9 diffs and slotted disk brakes. The
suspension has had a full makeover, with
three-inch Tough Dog adjustable shocks
tted up with matching HD springs plus a
two-inch body lift to make way for 35” tyres.
The gutsy Nissan’s front end is protected
by a custom steel bullbar that is matched
with a Runva 12XP winch and an impressive
12 LED light setup that’s all controlled
from a custom centre console. The custom
interior is matched with a 2500W sound
system and the whole rig is set off with the
one of a kind Chameleon aqua camo green
paint job. Congrats on building up a real
head turner of a truck that looks more than
capable of going wherever it’s pointed.

WINNER!
