As you’d expect, this lets you
create a graduated blend
from one color to another. But
there’s also a lot more to the tool.
You’ll fnd an array of gradient
presets, or you can customize your
own with the Gradient Editor. There
are fve diferent gradient shapes
to choose from – LInear, Radial,
Angle, Refected and Diamond –
which each change the shape and
direction of the blend.

TOP TIP
When using the Gradient Editor, you can create interesting efects by setting
Gradient Type to Noise and then increasing Roughness.
