on the Golf GTI, makes for a striking feature that ties in the
colour schemechosen match the exterior colours
perfectly.
The yellow and black scheme
continues in the cab area. The
dash especially was very grubby
from its previous hard life so
Michael decided to refurb it using
a good coating of Cherry Blossom
Boot Polish and yellow paint that
matched the AA version sourced at
Trago Mills! LED strip lights that
illuminate when the headlights are
on were fitted into the door pockets
and in the foot wells and the cab
doors finished to match the dash.
Having fitted a Hawaiian Hibiscus
themed roof lining on the previous
T4 which they had loved, Michael
was searching for something equally
striking but different which would
harmonise with Lola’s colours –
when he found a yellow tartan
similar to the plaid used on the Golf
GTI whilst trawling the internet
he knew the search was over! The
addition of a swivel base to the twin
bench cab seat was the finishing
