35Since its inception in 2004 Roberto Curtò’s , RC Design studio has
delivered more than 50 project design models ranging from RIBs, mo-
tor yachts sailing yachts, to superyachts. Many of the models designed
were ordered by leading international shipyards and several were
awarded prizes in the course of some of the main yacht shows over
the last decade.
Roberto Curtò’s superyacht projects between 40 and 85 metres,
clearly reveal he wants to highlight the fact they can all be “easily”
built without too many vicissitudes in engineering terms. In fact this
designer’s style, focuses on personal preferences regarding shapes and
lines which are never commonplace, free of traditionalistic excesses
and without ever slipping into pitfalls labelled ‘futuristic sensationalism’
since they are virtually impossible to reproduce convincingly in a ship-Technical data
