Artists Tips & Hints
r)PMEQFOVQSJHIU
to achieve dots.
Practice on scrap
paper before
beginning your
picture.
r3FTJTUUIFUFNQUBUJPO
to draw lines or
colour-in.
r'SFRVFOUMZTUBOE
back from your
work at a distance
to check it looks
okay. If you sit
too close for too
long, you won’t see
mistakes. This also
gives your eyes and
hand a rest.

TUJQQMJOH
is unforgiving. Once
you put that dot on
the paper, you can’t
remove it. It stays
forever.
r.PTUJNQPSUBOUJT
to enjoy it. If you
are doing a picture
that doesn’t interest
you, it won’t turn
out as good as a
picture you really
want to do.
