the first being No. 66790, which
was towed from Immingham

70 Nos. 70803 and 70815 head
north through Euxton, just
before lunch, double headed
light engine, a rare sight in the
area.

May 7 was worked by Class 70
No. 70809. On May 14, there
was a light engine movement
of Class 70 No. 70814+Class 56
Nos. 56113+56090.


THE Carlisle to Chirk logs on
May 9 and 10 were in the hands
of Colas Class 56 Nos. 56094 and
56096, seen over CefnViaduct
at 19.15.


THE Preston dock to Lindsey oil
refinery empty bitumen tanks
passed Barnetby on May 14
headed by Class 56 Nos. 56087
and 56105

on June 1 en route from Carlisle

maroon-liveried Mk1 coaches.

on June 6 en route from Carnforth

a four-coach maroon Mk1 e.c.s.

for a few minutes before leaving

with No. D6757/37057 at the
rear of the train with a consist
of generator No. 6261; track
recording coach No. 999550;
special vehicle No. 1256; and staff

coach No. 977969. Later in the day
it was seen at Harwich at 16.05.

topped-and-tailed the 08.32
Derby RTC-Heaton NMT on May 4.
