Create a watertight grip
While you also see many putting grip variations on Tour, the top players tend to hold the club more in the palm of their hands than their fingers.
2 This reduces unwanted hand and wrist action in the stroke and instead enables you to control the stroke with your upper body.
Position the grip so that it runs along the
lifeline in your palm, not your fingers.
When you close your hand around the club,
make sure the grip is in line with your forearm.You should be able to insert a finger between
your little finger and your palm’s meaty part.
