formed in 1995, was instrumental in the
creative regeneration of east London.
Having played an active role in its growth,
she started to explore her interest in art
by taking courses in sculpture, ultimately
sparking her private artistic practice.
She has previously exhibited in Spirit
of Womanhood, a one-off exhibition in
2014 supported by Tracey Emin at the Oxo
Tower. Another sculpture, Motherhood,
was selected by a judging panel of leading
figures from the contemporary world,
including Dr. Amy Mechowski, curator of
the Victoria & Albert Museum and Andrew
Gwilliams, White Cube Gallery as part of
a network promoting dialogue amongst
women on an international scale.

And she’s already looking forward to the
next chapter. “I am already working on my
next show,” she says. “After the intense
production work which has gone into the
Evolution exhibition, I have been keen to get
back into the studio. Yoga will always be in
my life in the future as it has been in the
past and present. After the intense exhibiting
process I look forward to yoga being a
regular and integral part of my daily life,
helping me to maintain physical health in
spite of the physical efforts of hand carving
stone, and of course with my emotional and
spiritual wellbeing.”
