It is good to use it daily, otherwise you’ll
think you’ve lost it or didn’t have it in the
first place. Wrong! You can start again at any
time. We are simply vehicles for the energy
that is channelled through us by higher
powers, angels or god, depending on your
belief system. If you don’t believe in higher
powers, just think of it as energy.
My truth is that we are spiritual beings
having an earthly physical experience and
we have many guides, helpers and friends
in spirit who are assisting us in our mission
here. I believe we have energy bodies that
are just as real as our physical bodies and
that blockages in this energetic system
can manifest as dis-ease in our physical
bodies. Such blockages can be the result
of unprocessed negative emotion such as
anger, stress, fear, resentment, and so on.
Happily, these blockages can be cleared with
the simple and free use of energetic healing.
The secret to this is doing it with love and a
sincere intention for healing.
You can just explore this yourself or you
can sign up for an energy healing course
of some kind, for example Reiki, Pranic
healing or EFT Tapping. I’d also recommend
yoga and meditation as other avenues for
understanding the relationship between our
physical and energetic bodies.
- The healing power
of nature
Somewhere along the way we’ve become
disconnected from our spiritual selves
and from Mother Earth. Rather than living
in harmony with her cycles, seasons and
rhythms, we’ve tried to dominate the earth.
We’ve treated her like something to own,
use, and trash as the mood takes us. We’ve
wrapped her in a sheath of our plastic and
filled her oceans with toxic waste. We’ve
unsustainably pillaged her resources;
we’ve destroyed her forests; poured deadly
chemicals into her soils; stolen habitat
from the other species with whom we share
this planet, causing mass extinctions and
suffering, and we’ve choked the atmosphere
with pollutants. Where has it got us? With
unprecedented rates of our own depression,
mental disorders, suicide, war, violence, and
lifestyle diseases.
The way back though begins with just
getting back in touch with our natural
rhythms. Reconnecting with nature is one
of the quickest and most effective ways to
reconnect with your spiritual self. So my
second tip is to get yourself into a natural
environment as often as possible. The
energies of nature will cleanse your energy
field and reconnect you to the planet and
the universe. Out in nature is the best place
to get peace of mind, and to hear your
true soul talking. Go up into the hills or
mountains, go swimming in the ocean, or
go deep into the forests or bush. Meditate
under a tree, sit on a park bench or do a
walking meditation. If you live in a city, bring
more plants, crystals, stones and pets into
your living and working space.
For me, I adore the energy of a breaking
new day so I find that early mornings at 5am
is the best time to replenish my energies with
a long walk along the beach or in a park.
I listen to the chorus of the birds and the
sounds of nature, I inhale the smells, and
take in the sights. If I’m at the sea, I sit on
the sand and listen to the waves. If possible,
I spend a few minutes matching my inhale
and exhale with their ebb and flow.
Feel and give thanks to the universe and
nature for their precious healing gifts, whilst
they are being absorbed into your mind,
body and soul, thus bringing you closer to
who you really are.
- Blue liquid visualisation
One of the strongest tools I use when
teaching intuition and healing is
visualisation. This blue liquid technique
is one the best. Every time you’re in the
shower, stand under the water and see it as
a bright blue colour. Instead of going over
you, see it going through you, pouring in
from the top of your head and all the way
down to your feet.
As this healing blue liquid passes through
your body, stop at the parts where you
think you need help, and swirl it around
there for longer. See the liquid flow down
through your torso, stomach, legs and feet.
As it comes out the bottom of your feet,
it turns brown in colour and runs into the
drain. Visualise all your toxins, sickness and
negativity coming out of your body and
flushing away.
