Why Mornings?

Of course, this isn’t a free pass to not try or to be lazy. This
is simply an opportunity to acknowledge our current state and
give God the glory for taking the next step.
I love how Beth Moore has described grace: “Grace treats
us like we already are what we fear we’ll never become.”^5
Choose grace over perfection, and allow the slow, steady steps
of progress to motivate you to be all God dreamed for you.
Scripture says God knit you together in your mother’s
womb (Ps. 139:13). Have you ever knit or watched someone
transform a ball of yarn into a treasured keepsake? Knitting
is not an instant process. It takes time, focus, and care. God
carefully crafted you to do great things with your days. It’s
worth our time to investigate our strengths, weaknesses, and
resources. From this foundation of knowledge and choosing
grace over perfection, we can confidently build a morning rou-
tine that can carry us through any storm and season.
