Prayers of Søren Kierkegaard 97
The Psalm, or...
My help comes from the LORD,
maker of heaven and the earth.^322
The Word of God
Lord Jesus Christ, you came to the world to save the lost; you left the
99 sheep to look for one stray. Look for me in my wayward paths,
where I hide myself from you and from others. Good shepherd let me
hear your gentle voice, let me know it, let me follow it!^323

Prayer
Free prayer..... ., or...
When sometimes, Lord, it seems you do not hear my voice, not
notice my complaint, my sighing or my thanksgiving; then I will still
continue to pray to you until you receive my thanksgiving – because
you have answered my prayer.^324
Conclusion
Lord, my God, give me again the courage to hope. Merciful God, let
hope once again make fertile my sterile and barren mind. Amen.^325
