Modi cations and Other Options



  • If you are looking for a side neck stretch, turn the head to the side.
    Repeat on the other side.

  • If you feel discomfort in the lower abdomen, place a blanket under
    this area.

  • Gently rocking side to side can provide a stretch through the lower
    back.

  • As an alternative, students who are pregnant should try lying on
    their left side with their knees slightly bent and their hands under
    the side of the face (1).
