lungs. It also promotes calmness and relaxation.
Risks and Contraindications
Modify or exit the pose if you experience discomfort in the hip.
Alignment Points


  • Begin by lying on your back and extending one leg straight.

  • Bring the opposite foot up to the inner thigh of the extended leg
    and allow the bent knee to release off to the side.

  • Open the arms to the side or bring them into cactus, where the
    elbows are bent 90 degrees and the palms face the sky.

  • Repeat on the other side.
