500 g leanmincedbeef
2 Tmediumcurry
1 Thotcurry
2 Ttomatopaste
1 x 410g cantomatoes,chopped
2 Tbrownsugar
1 Tsweetchillisauce
½cupbeefstock
Saltandpeppertoseason
Handfulcoriander,chopped
Method
- Ina bowl,preparetheready-
madevetkoekmixaccordingto
instructionsonthepacket.Roll
thedoughintosmallballs,and
frytomakeminivetkoeks.Set
asideoncefrieduntilneeded. - Ina largesaucepan,heatoil
andsautéonionsfora minute.
Addgarlicandginger.Sautéfor
anotherminuteandaddcurry
powders.Addminceandbrownforabout 10
minutes,stirringallthetime.Addtomatopaste,
choppedtomatoes,brownsugarandsweetchilli
sauceandcookforabout 20 minutesonmedium
heat.Pourbeefstockandcookuntilminceis
cookedandthere'snoliquid.Seasontotaste.
Addcoriander.
- Make a slit in the vetkoeks and fill up with warm
curried mince. Serve with chutney.
